Key advantages

Compact size

Our plants are 4 times smaller than conventional plants, allowing space optimization and greater efficiency. The small tank size and high treatment speed (3 min) considerably reduce the footprint and the costs of installation and civil works. It also increases versatility in case of relocation, and the plant can be hidden from view with an enclosure.

LOW WATER CONTENT IN SLUDGE

The low water content in the sludge from the Dissolved Air Flotation system (up to 5% dry basis), compared with 0.4 – 0.7 in a conventional plant, reduces the volume of sludge transferred to the subsequent dewatering process, substantially increasing treatment capacity automatically, with no need to oversize the dewatering process. It also eliminates the extra expense of a sludge holding unit.

Reduced recycling volume

The high sludge concentration reduces the recycling volume to the biological digester, enabling a major increase in the treatment plant's efficiency. By keeping the reactor's recycled bacteria in optimal conditions, the biological digester recovers faster from sporadic toxic shocks and keeps its treatment efficiency at high levels eliminating bad odors.  

LIGHTWEIGHT TANKS

The low tank weight (750 kg/m² at 100% capacity) allows plants to be stacked on top of one another or on top of other equipment to use overhead space, reducing the footprint even further. For future expansion, units can even be installed over the biological reactor, on roofs, rooftops, or water tanks. Such a compact installation allows the system to be almost fully automated, with the corresponding reduction in staffing.

Bulking

Our technology completely eliminates the inefficiency and imbalance of “bulking” by removing it through flotation, unlike conventional plants. Other treatment plants mix the “bulking” with already-treated water as it is sent over the weir, contaminating it with BOD, suspended solids, fats, and oils.

A non-conventional system

The technology used in Deincokwi's plants extracts the best from each process, providing operational safety and simplicity that conventional biological systems lack.
